Rigging Hardware - Reutlinger cable holders, 150mm nylon pulley blocks and sheaves, beam and girder clamps, batten clamps and pipe hangers, and fly-system hardware, specified, supplied, installed and certified Australia wide by TSA
Cable holders, pulleys and clamps. Rated to rig.
The structural metalwork that fixes a rig to the building and routes the lines - cable holders, pulley blocks, beam and batten clamps, and fly-system hardware. Specified, certified and supported, not pulled from a generic industrial catalogue.
Five families.
One load path.
The metalwork that carries the load - grouped into five families. Start from the job in front of you, then pick the rating, size or fitting your rig calls for.
The metalwork
that carries the load.
Rigging hardware is the structural attachment and suspension gear that holds the rig up - the cable holders, pulley blocks, beam and batten clamps, and fly-system fittings that route the lines and fix the load to the building and grid. TSA specifies all five families to theatrical and venue standard, not pulled from a generic industrial catalogue.
Every item is rated, certified and finished for stage use: Reutlinger cable holders dual-rated to DGUV and TUV, pulley blocks third-party certified to AS 1418.2, girder clamps to 10 tonne, and the in-house 250 kg batten range. The wear-and-replace consumables sit alongside in the rest of the Lifting & Rigging range.
One holder, three sizes. Type 50, 66 and 80 grip 4 to 8 mm wire rope and lock under load - rated 180 to 480 kg to TUV SF5, and 90 to 240 kg to DGUV SF10, the entertainment-industry rating.
Four jobs, one store.
Pick the family,
not the compromise.
Five hardware families, each the right answer to a different job on the rig - here is what TSA stocks in each, and how to spec the one your rig needs.
Everything here is rated, certified and finished for stage use. Reutlinger cable holders are dual-rated to DGUV and TUV, pulley blocks are third-party certified to AS 1418.2, girder clamps run to 10 t, and batten clamps hold 250 kg. Black is the venue default across the hardware.
Grip the rope, lock the load.
Reutlinger self-locking cable holders take 4 to 8 mm steel wire rope and hold under load - dual-rated 60 to 240 kg to DGUV SF10, the entertainment rating, and 120 to 480 kg to TUV SF5. Type 50, 66 and 80, in central or lateral cable exit, with ring, threaded, fork and Doughty-coupler fittings. Made in Germany; not for dynamic scenic movement or loads over people.
Quiet sheaves, no-drill mount.
The 150 mm 6-line loft block carries 250 kg and the head block 500 kg, with a 230 mm counterweight head block at 750 kg. Near-silent Nylatron nylon sheaves on sealed precision bearings, third-party certified to AS 1418.2 and AS 3990, fixed to UB and UC steel with a no-drill bracket and no modification to the flange. Satin black for the grid.
Hang it off the steel.
No-drill attachment to structural steel. The TSA Black range runs 2 t and 3 t in satin black for venue specs; the Beaver range runs 1 t to 10 t, colour-coded by working load for quick on-site checks. Jaw openings from 14 to 350 mm suit UB and UC sections, and both ranges are third-party certified. Send the beam and the load and we will spec the clamp.
Built in-house for the bar.
Fabricated in-house from 5 mm steel with M12 hardware throughout, rated 250 kg across all five configurations: standard pipe hanger, 48 OD single and double, 75 x 50 RHS, and the RHS-and-OD combination. Matt black to disappear backstage, covering every standard Australian batten profile from one supplier.
The fittings that fly the scene.
Flying irons, boss plates, clew plates, rigging lugs and clamp-on weights for fly and scenic rigging, plus the Grade P jaw-jaw turnbuckle for fine scenic adjustment and levelling. This hardware is specified to the job and the engineering documentation rather than pulled off a shelf - send the rig and we will spec, supply and certify it.
Not sure which fitting your rig needs? Send the job and we will spec and supply it, certified, from Australian stock. Hardware pairs with the EXE Rise chain hoists, rigging consumables and LITEC truss across the rigging line.
