What a Health Check is

What you have, and
what to do next.

A Venue Systems Health Check is a structured, single-visit on-site review of your stage and overhead systems - hoisting and lifting systems, fixed overhead rigging, curtain tracks and drapery, manual and motorised winches, and stage machinery - carried out by an experienced TSA technician. You get a baseline asset register, a plain-language condition summary, clear identification of servicing and compliance gaps, and a prioritised action plan.

It is a clarity tool, not a formal inspection: diagnostic, not regulatory, with nothing reported elsewhere and nothing escalated. Understand what you have first, so when you do commission inspection or service work you are spending in the right places - confidently. It is the Identify front door to the full Compliance & Service programme.

01

Baseline asset register

A structured record of your stage and overhead systems - what is installed, where it sits, how it is identified. For many venues, the first time it has all been captured in one place.

02

Condition summary

A plain-language overview of current condition across rigging, drapery, mechanical and hoisting systems, with key observations documented.

03

Gap identification

Servicing and compliance gaps set out clearly. What is overdue, what is missing, what needs attention - nothing dressed up, nothing hidden.

04

Prioritised action plan

Recommended next steps ordered by priority and risk - a defensible basis for budgeting, scheduling and decision-making.

Diagnostic, not regulatory. The findings go to you and no one else. Nothing is reported elsewhere, nothing escalated - a clarity tool before you commit budget.

What you get

A report you can
act on, and defend.

A Health Check is not a verbal "looks fine" - and not a formal inspection either. You walk away with a practical document set that gives you clarity first: what you have, its condition, the gaps, and what to do next.

One visit tells you exactly where you stand.

It is the Identify front door: a structured on-site review that maps your stage systems, captures the gaps and hands you a prioritised plan - diagnostic, not regulatory.

Or keep it current with the Programme

The Health Check tells you where you are; the Service & Inspection Programme keeps you there, with scheduled visits and a documented history that builds your Due-Diligence Level year on year. Formal inspection, load testing and certification live there - commissioned with clarity, in the right places.

Your stage and overhead systems - hoisting and lifting systems, fixed overhead rigging, curtain tracks and drapery, manual and motorised winches, and stage machinery. It does not cover whole-building items like fire exits or seating; the "Systems" qualifier scopes it to stage equipment.
Four practical deliverables: a baseline asset register, a plain-language condition summary, clear identification of servicing and compliance gaps, and a prioritised action plan ordered by priority and risk.
No - and that is deliberate. The Health Check is diagnostic, not regulatory: no certification, no compliance sign-off, and we cannot shut your venue down. It gives you clarity first, so when you do commission formal inspection or service work, the spend lands in the right places.
When asset condition is unclear, service history is incomplete, systems have evolved over time, or you want clarity before committing to larger works. For most venues it is the start - the baseline an ongoing Service & Inspection Programme then maintains.
An experienced TSA technician, in-house, Australia wide. The findings go to you and no one else - nothing is reported elsewhere, nothing escalated.
