01 - What We Do

Eight capabilities. One TSA.

Industry · Government

For the venues the public owns and the auditor checks.

Council-owned PACs, civic centres, town halls and public venues. The duty of care sits with you - so we keep the rigging certified, the asset register audit-ready, and the documentation built to stand up at tender.

The whole building

From the foyer to the dais, one accountable team.

A civic venue is a stack of systems the public relies on - rigging, drapes, AV and the compliance that keeps them certified and audit-ready. Choose the room that matches yours, then explore what we deliver across it.

Common in this sector

What civic venues call us about.

Different building, same short list. These are the calls that turn into a quote inside the hour - and the reason we keep the report ready before you ask.

It's a public venue and the duty of care sits with us, but nothing in the rig has a current certification on file.

Venue Manager, council civic centre

The internal audit is on us and our asset register has to stand up. Half the rigging has no record at all.

Asset Manager, regional council

The tender wants documented, accountable delivery, and I need a supplier who can put their name to the paperwork.

Procurement Officer, regional council

I've inherited a town hall full of rigging and no record of what is safe to put a load on.

Facilities Coordinator, city hall

We have one quiet window between bookings and a remediation list longer than the window.

How TSA helps

Everything your venue touches, from one team.

Most of what runs above and around your stage, we cover. Hover or tap any capability to see how it shows up in your venue - listed in the order most venues meet us.

Engagement model

How it usually goes, start to finish.

Most civic projects with TSA follow the same five-step shape. Mapped to your budget and procurement cycle, not ours.

  1. Step 01

    Audit

Asset audit and condition report across the venue's stage systems.

  2. Step 02

    Report

Prioritised remediation scope aligned to budget and procurement cycles.

  3. Step 03

    Quote

    Tender-ready documentation and engineering sign-off.

  4. Step 04

    Deliver

Programmed delivery scheduled around community use.

  5. Step 05

    Recertify

Annual recertification under the Service & Inspection Programme.

Common questions

Questions civic venues ask us most.

Yes. Tender-ready documentation and engineering sign-off are part of the scope, not an afterthought. You receive a graded condition report, a prioritised remediation scope and the certification to back it - the documented, accountable trail a procurement process and an internal audit both ask for. We can format to your tender template where one applies.

A persistent asset register sits behind the Service & Inspection Programme - one Asset ID per item, with condition, certification status and recertification date tracked year on year. It feeds straight into your asset-management plan and gives an auditor a single, defensible record of every stage and rigging system in the venue.

No. The Venue Systems Health Check is structured to work around your existing kit. We document the rig as found, flag anything that needs deeper review, and prioritise remediation against your budget and community-use calendar. If teardown is required for any specific item, we'll book it separately.

Lifting and rigging work is delivered against AS 4991 and D8 Plus where applicable. Drape FR treatment is delivered against AS 1530. Electrical testing against AS/NZS 3760. Every certificate is recorded against the asset register so the standard, the date and the result are on file when a tender or audit asks. Where a venue has insurer-specific requirements, we work to whichever standard is stricter.

That's the most common reason council operators ring us. A staged programme - same audit format, same report structure, same recertification cycle across every venue - gives your team a single picture and a single budget line. We've done this for cultural infrastructure portfolios and regional venue networks.
