Drape hire - FR-certified stage drapes, masking and cycloramas hired on your show calendar
Drapes for the run, not for the storeroom.
Drape hire from TSA puts FR-certified stage drapes on your stage for the dates you run: masking blacks, house velvets, voiles, scrims and cycloramas from the same fleet you would buy from - picked, prepped, freighted Australia wide and collected after the run.
Start with the dates.
We check the fleet.
Three ways a drape hire starts. All of them end the same way: certified stock on your stage for the run, then back on the truck.
Start from a kit list
You know the drapes you need. Send the list with your dates and we check the fleet.
Start from the room
Send stage dimensions and what the show needs to hide or reveal, and we spec the drapes for you.
Start from a season
Hiring for a run while you scope a permanent set? We quote the hire and the buy side by side.
Hired, hung,
handed back.
Drape hire from TSA is stage-ready soft goods on a show calendar: masking blacks, house velvets, voiles and sheers, scrims and gauzes, cycloramas and backdrops, legs and borders - the same FR-certified stock our drapes team supplies to buy. Every piece is fire-rated to AS 1530.2 and AS 1530.3, inspected and maintained between hires, and shipped with the certification your venue or insurer will ask for. The fleet is TSA-owned and managed from our Victorian warehouse, and the same stock serves productions that come to us through Reveal. DSS drape-support frames and Electro Kabuki drop systems hire alongside the soft goods, so a reveal or a room build ships as one package.
It runs on your dates, not ours. Send bump-in and bump-out, and the stock is picked, prepped, freighted to your dock and collected after the run. There is no minimum production size - schools, community theatre, corporate events and touring productions all hire from the same fleet, for a week, a run-of-show, or a single day by arrangement. Hire runs on weekly rates, with day rates by arrangement. Installation and pack-down are available on request, quoted with the hire.
For peak periods such as school production seasons and touring bumps, allow four to six weeks; for standard stock, one to two weeks usually works.
Four jobs, one fleet.
Five steps, every time.
The same discipline whether it is one borrowed backdrop or a full masking set for a season: checked out of the fleet, checked back in, with the FR paperwork along for the ride.
-
Step 01
Availability check
Send bump-in and bump-out dates and what you are after. Stock is checked across the national fleet and an answer comes back inside the working day.
-
Step 02
Pick & prep
Every drape is picked and inspected before it ships - cleaned, FR-certified to AS 1530.2 and AS 1530.3, with certification documents on request.
-
Step 03
Ship national
Palletised and freighted to your dock, Australia wide, with the freight booked by us around your load-in window.
-
Step 04
Run support
A number that answers while the show is on. Installation, pack-down and callouts are available on request for the life of the hire.
-
Step 05
Collect & inspect back in
Return freight is booked and every drape is cleaned and inspected back into the fleet - which is exactly why what ships to the next customer arrives right.
