The wrong vinyl is too slick for pointe, too soft for tap, or too hard on the body for barefoot work. The top surface is not a finish detail. It is the part the dancer is in contact with every step, class after class, season after season.
Dance and performance vinyl is Tarkett, distributed by us - one of only three or four Tarkett dance floor distributors in Australia. We carry three ranges - Tarkett Dancefloor for ballet and barefoot work, iQ Granit Acoustic for tap, flamenco and stages, and Omnisport Speed for sports use - and we supply and lay them across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. We select, supply, apply and install, roll or cut to size, with a minimum order of 6 sq m. It is one part of the full Dance & Studio Equipment range. The offer still carries the Show Works name and is now supplied and laid by Theatre Safe Australia; the ranges are also listed on the Show Works dance vinyl page.

Every range is genuine Tarkett, supplied and laid by us. What changes is the surface - and that is what you match to the discipline, the wear the room sees, and whether dancers are barefoot, on pointe or in tap shoes.
The common ground, defined once: all three are Tarkett vinyl, distributed by us as Tarkett's distributor of choice in Australia. We select, supply, apply and install, roll or cut to size, with a minimum order of 6 sq m. Supply and lay across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

Developed for the Australian dance industry, with a cushion back and a reduced PU coating. That combination gives the grip and reduced-injury feel ballet, pointe and barefoot work need. It is the surface most ballet studios specify, and the vinyl laid on the Pointe tier of our sprung floors.

Cushioned and self-healing, glued to the substrate for a fixed surface that takes hard wear. It suits ballet, tap, flamenco and stages, and the acoustic layer helps keep the noise down through the building. This is the vinyl laid on the Classic tier of our sprung floors.

A high-wear sports vinyl built for halls, gyms and multi-use rooms. It takes the traffic a sports floor sees while staying a forgiving surface to play on. It is not a classical ballet surface, so for a dance studio we will steer you to Tarkett Dancefloor instead.
