200 steps up, a 10 m showcase wall in
A 10 m by 7 m wall of showcases and graphic panels, pre-assembled in our workshop and carried up a heritage pylon with no lift.
The Bridge Museum is a new installation in the existing Southeast Pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Our team built the display assets, including a wall of showcases and graphic panels 10 m high and 7 m wide.
There is no lift and no trade entrance, so everything went up a tight stairwell of 200 steps. We pre-assembled the wall in the workshop, took it apart again and crated it, then brought it in flat-packed in sizes that fit the venue. The building is heritage listed, so every penetration was negotiated with the client before we touched it.
