Parade floats, a puppetised dragon and public-art moments for the City of Melbourne's Moomba festival.

The job City of Melbourne

Our Show Works workshop built for the City of Melbourne's Moomba Parade and Festival over several years. The floats included a Melbourne float carrying Luna Park, the MCG, the Arts Centre spire, the Forum, the NGV and Flinders Street Station, and an Australian Natives float with neon banksia and gumnut flowers.

The 2019 parade asked for something with more bite: a 26-foot puppetised dragon that breathes smoke, with its hoard of treasure. A later year added a photo moment outside Melbourne Town Hall for the festival's 70th anniversary.
